We want you to be genuinely helped by what you buy from The Formative Path. This policy explains your options if something isn’t right, and reflects your rights under EU and Dutch consumer law.
Digital books (eBooks & downloads)
Because digital products are delivered instantly and can’t be returned once accessed, by completing your purchase and beginning your download you agree that your legal 14-day right of withdrawal ends at that moment — so we generally can’t refund eBooks once downloaded. We’ll gladly help, though, if the file won’t download or open, you were charged twice, or you bought the wrong item and haven’t yet downloaded it. Just contact us and we’ll put it right.
Printed books (paperbacks)
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal: you may return a paperback for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, in its original, resalable condition. To start a return, email us with your order number and we’ll send the return address and instructions. Once we receive and check the book, we’ll refund the purchase price (including standard outbound shipping) within 14 days. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, contact us within 14 days of delivery with a photo and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund, return shipping included — that’s on us.
How refunds are issued
Refunds go back to your original payment method. If you paid by bank transfer, we’ll refund to the account the payment came from. Please allow a few business days for it to appear after we confirm the refund.
